Au Revoir Parapluie

On the edge of reason there is a magical rope that James Thierrée twists and turns to enchant his audience in Au Revoir Parapluie.  In this wonderful commission from the enfant poetique of the imagination, a world of iron, and ire, dances from the domestic to the fanciful.

James Thierrée’s mix of contemporary circus, movement and the metamorphosis of objects is at the vanguard of European performance. After the sell-out success of La Veillée des Abysses  and The Junebug Symphony,  Thierrée and his ensemble return with a show that welds the physical with the spiritual to create a spectacle that captivates, charms and inspires.

  • 'James Thierrée has created a fantasy world that's a breath of air so fresh it will take your own away.'
