We advocate for artists and visual performance work by brokering connections and initiating creative collaborations.
Through our networks we link creative communities locally, nationally and internationally. We create a vital space for playful collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange which leads to the creation of boundary-pushing work, and which strengthens the visual performance sector.
We are a global network leader and work regularly with European networks Circostrada, Cirkus Syd and Baltic Nordic Circus Network, as well as national networks OutdoorArtsUK, What Next?, the Social Prescribing Network and the informal circus advocacy group Circus Change UP.
We are proud of our history which has seen us introduce the work of seminal international artists to the UK, including French artists Raphaëlle Boitel and James Thierrée’s Compagnie du Hanneton; Groupe Acrobatique de Tanger from Morocco; Italy’s Compagnia TPO; Race Horse Company from Finland; Laika and Inne Goris from Belgium, Kundle Cru from Italy, Sweden and beyond.
We are a founder-member of Circus Change UP, Circostrada, PASS Circus Channel, City Circ and Circus Evolution, all networks which have changed the landscape for circus artists working today and brought fresh thinking and inspiration to the UK contemporary circus scene.
