A human story told through movement, dance and circus.

I Am. Am I is a bold new solo show by Louiseanne Pui Chi Wong – a fusion of dance, circus, Parkour and theatre.

Explosive and intimate in equal measure, the work peels back the layers of identity to ask: Who am I? and Who decides? Drawing on Louiseanne’s experience of growing up in Hong Kong and living between cultures, the show tackles social conditioning, displacement and the constant push to define yourself against society’s labels.

At the centre of the stage is a fridge — part playground, part battleground. Louiseanne jumps on it, inside it, dismantles it. A symbol of survival, memory, and frozen time, the fridge transforms into a powerful metaphor for what keeps us alive and what keeps us trapped.

With the physical ferocity of Krump, the precision of Parkour, and the spectacle of dance and circus, I Am. Am I cracks open urgent questions around East Asian diaspora, hidden racism and the human fight to reclaim selfhood. It’s raw, electric and utterly original — a performance that refuses to be contained.
