Alice Allart, a graduate of the National Centre for Circus Arts (NCCA) who specialises in trick cycling, slack rope and object manipulation, is the latest addition to Crying Out Loud’s Associate Artist scheme.

We were drawn to her playful and inventive approach to telling stories and her exquisite attention to detail. In particular the ingenious way she manoeuvres her body and everyday objects simultaneously to create fantastical scenarios.

Crying Out Loud is helping Alice to develop her new show, These Books Are Made For Walking, through a series of residencies, sharings and a tour of black box spaces and libraries.
