Presented by Funk Format / Soul Rawkus CIC as part of Rawkus City 2026, Ideas Cypher is for movement artists, dance practitioners, producers, programmers and artists from different disciplines.

The afternoon includes artist presentations, panel discussion, networking, cypher and play, with featured artists including Luke Brown, Simon Harmer, Louiseanne Wong, Thomas Buckley, Cat Finch and Sasha Biloshisky.

Ideas Cypher is Rawkus City’s micro-conference, part of, Rawkus City 2026, Funk Format’s free two-year hip hop arts programme for Portsmouth and the Solent. It follows the morning’s Motus Lab session at the Luminarium, and leads into the free Rawkus City Festival Day at Guildhall Square on Sunday 13 September.
