Pitch Up! is a free movement session led by artists from Le Phare
A welcoming, practical session inspired by °Up: Violin vs Football by Le Phare Centre chorégraphique National du Havre Normandie, a playful outdoor performance bringing together freestyle football, live violin and movement.
Led by artists from Le Phare, Pitch Up! explores movement, rhythm, co-ordination and play. For movement artists, it’s a chance to experiment with the meeting point between movement, music and football alongside other practitioners.
Critically acclaimed French performers from Le Phare, who have been invited to Portsmouth as part of Portsmouth 100 to perform their show ºUp: Violin vs Football as part of Rawkus City Festival; a free Hip Hop festival in the Guildhall Square on Sunday 13 September.
The performers are joining us fresh on the back of their sell out, five star run at the Edinburgh Fringe. We are offering a unique opportunity to take part in a workshop where they will share their skills and talents with you.
Have fun , learn new skills from international performers.
