The New Horizons Leadership Programme (NHLP-EU) was a Baltic-Nordic collaboration supported by Creative Europe.​

Its vision was to strengthen the European circus sector by supporting future leaders to acquire and develop skills and competencies for strong leadership. It brought together 10 visionary fellows and 10 experts to engage in exchanges and events related to leadership.

The 10-month programme included two live forums, 10 digital online seminars, as well as a three-week transnational shadow experience and peer learning through a purpose-built digital platform. The emergent leaders were based in a Nordic, Baltic, or European country.

Our Artistic Director, Rachel was one of the 10 experts and was paired with Sophie Zoletnik from Hungary. Sophie came to the UK for three weeks, spending time in both Bristol and London, leading a workshop for the artists in Circus Around & About 2 and sharing her work at Circomedia with the students.
