We’re thrilled to announce a new collaboration!
Crying Out Loud is joining forces with This New Ground and integrated circus company Head Over Wheels as part of the Groundwork project in Portsmouth – a bold and inclusive creative journey led by learning-disabled artists.
As a commissioning partner, we’re proud to support this step-change in representation and leadership in the arts. Through artist development, collaboration and connection to our wider programme, this project champions powerful creative voices and challenges perceptions of what learning-disabled art can be.
This collaboration is part of Crying Out Loud’s Solent Stories programme, supporting local artists and enriching the cultural tapestry of the Solent region.
Recently, the Groundwork team welcomed Head Over Wheels co-founder Tilly Lee-Kronick to Portsmouth to kick off the next chapter, ahead of a collaborative residency this autumn.
Big thanks to This New Ground, Head Over Wheels and Arts Council England for making this possible. We can’t wait to share more.
