Food and circus are a seductive combination! If you feel the same, make your way to Arts Depot 20-22 November for Crashmat Collective’s Façade – a three-course meal served exclusively by the company’s seven performers.
Described as a ‘masterful debut’ by This Is Cabaret, the character of each of the waiters is slowly revealed through their interactions with the diners and their relationships with the fictional restaurant setting of Claude’s.
The joyful energy at one performance was so infectious that one of the diners was heard to say at the end, “I’ll be disappointed next time I go for a meal and it doesn’t have this.”
