A new life for the giant puppet of Walk of the Dandelion, as Luke Brown Company refines this immersive outdoor performance.

In April 2025 Walk of the Dandelion enters its final creation phase at 101 Outdoor Arts, the UK’s National Centre for Arts in Public Space. Solent-based Luke Brown Company will complete the development of their large-scale puppet, Daniel, refining his design to reflect the show’s themes of resilience and hope. The puppet’s transformation will be completed, evolving from a realistic older man into a figure intertwined with nature, shaped by flowers, roots and moss. During this residency, the company will also refine the show’s dramaturgy, shaping its immersive storytelling and movement ahead of its summer preview tour. In 2025, Walk of the Dandelion will preview at multiple Solent festivals and events, with details to be announced soon.
