Farm Yard Circus are delivering a Partner Acrobatics Masterclass in Gosport as part of our Solent Creative Development programme.
Farm Yard Circus’ playful, physical approach draws from acro-yoga, traditional circus and dance acrobatics. With this masterclass they are creating opportunities for emerging artists and local practitioners to expand their skills and connect with others.
Focus
This two hour masterclass introduces foundational skills in partner acrobatics, including handstands, counterbalance techniques and creative movement flows. Taught by the Farm Yard Circus professional artists, the session draws from dance acro, acro-yoga and traditional circus forms.
Outcomes
Participants will gain professional training in partner-based movement and circus disciplines. The class aims to enhance skills, confidence and creative insight for those looking to develop in performance, training or community practice.

This is an inclusive and accessible opportunity open to all bodies. Fort Brockhurst offers accessible facilities. If you have questions about your access needs, please mention them in your booking.

Background in acro, dance, gymnastics or aerial is desired
Close-fitting clothing that allows free movement. Avoid zips, buttons or loose items. Bring layers in case of cooler weather.
Refreshments not provided, participants should bring water and snacks.
There is parking on site though please ensure you do not park in the range.
Programme Context
This workshop is part of Crying Out Loud’s Creative Development Programme, which supports emerging and established artists across the Solent region through workshops, mentoring and network-building.
It forms part of our commitment as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, delivering accessible training and cultural opportunities in Priority Places such as Gosport, Portsmouth, the Isle of Wight, Havant and the New Forest.
