On 12 & 13 January Iona Kewney returns to London with Joseph Quimby as Knights of the Invisible at the London International Mime Festival (LIMF). They last performed in the city in 2013 at the Roundhouse in a collaboration with artist, Conrad Shawcross.

We were first aware of Iona as the swaying body front of stage in Alain Platel’s Vsprs. And the first project we did together was at the inaugural  circus festival at the Roundhouse, Circus Front, in an evening of contemporary contortion.

Driven by her relentless strength of imagination and vision, Iona takes her body on incredible journeys. Joseph, a composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, is the formidable sound and voice of the world that they create in their piece, Black Regent which will be premiered at the Purcell Room in January. Expect pure truth of movement and a body that speaks louder than words.
