Laura Moy is an experienced performer now emerging as a choreographer and maker. She works internationally, devising and performing contemporary circus, dance theatre and immersive arts.

Laura graduated from Trinity Laban with a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre before completing a year at FLIC Scuola di Circo. Her circus training has been mainly self-researched, her movement and creative work supported by somatic and embodied movement practices, and the wonderful artists and practitioners she has worked with. Laura loves a playful, creative devising process and specialises in Chinese pole and aerial pole.

Crying Out Loud and Laura Moy

Laura’s first connection with Crying Out Loud was as a performer in Flown by Pirates of the Carabina in 2013. When creating her first solo work, Footprint in the Snow, she reconnected with Rachel Clare, our Artistic Director. As the work developed, Crying Out Loud agreed to support the process with some co-commissioning funds as well as creative support. Rachel also introduced Laura to Axel Satgé and Yellow Everything, who now produces this show.
