Marketing and Audience Development Manager

Following a degree in sculpture at St. Martin’s School of Art, Jackie had a baptism of fire at the Hackney Empire where she worked in Box Office, press and publicity. She was awarded an Arts Council England touring marketing bursary and spent 18 months working at London Contemporary Dance Theatre and the David Glass Ensemble as a paid(!) intern. Since then she has worked extensively with touring theatre and contemporary dance companies, festivals and on site specific events. She has held positions with and worked freelance for Rambert Dance Company; Talawa Theatre Company; the Curve, Leicester; Dance Umbrella; Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company; Siobhan Davies Dance Company and the London International Festival of Theatre. Most recently she has worked with Crying Out Loud on Circus Evolution – an Arts Council Strategic Touring funded initiative aimed at bringing more contemporary circus to more people. She participated in Adeste – an international action-learning and Audience Development programme led by the Audience Agency and has spoken about Audience Development and contemporary circus at CANVAS and Montréal Cirque Festival.
